Hello and welcome to Whisperwind Inc. we are located in historical Yorktown Virginia. I take pride in my breeding program and the responsibility to the Shetland Sheepdog breed. 

My animals are my constant companions and make me smile every day. With selective breeding, I usually plan two litters a year. Occasionally I have companion and show prospects available. All new homes are carefully screened and Whisperwind Kennel reserves the right of refusal.

Whisperwind Kennel takes every precaution to prevent known inherit genetic health defects and temperament problems. There are no absolute guarantees when dealing with genetics. However, I feel it is possible to drastically decrease the probability of inherited genetic problems with the testing that is available to all breeders.
